We’re Meadows Avenue Tap, and we’ve been the premier bar and grill in East Peoria, IL since 2006. With over $55 Million won by our customers, we offer the best gaming experience around. We specialize in private parties, pool leagues, and video gambling. We also offer craft and domestic beer, appetizers, burgers, homemade pizza, wings, and much more for dine-in, carryout, and curbside pickup. We’re looking forward to partnering with Morton, Peoria, and Washington Park consumers to continue to offer a premier bar and grill experience. Our Story

Meadows Avenue Tap is a beloved local establishment located in East Peoria, Illinois. Founded in 1995 by brothers John and Michael Johnson, the tap has become a cherished gathering place for the community over the years.

John and Michael were born and raised in East Peoria and aspired to create a welcoming environment where people could come together, enjoy great food and drinks, and make lasting memories. With hard work and determination, they turned their dream into reality when they opened Meadows Avenue Tap.

From the beginning, Meadows Avenue Tap has been committed to providing excellent service and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The Johnson brothers and their dedicated staff go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels like part of the family. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail have gained them a loyal customer base.

The tap offers an extensive menu of delicious, homemade comfort food and a wide selection of beverages, including craft beers and specialty cocktails. The Johnson brothers take pride in sourcing fresh ingredients locally whenever possible, supporting other businesses in the community.

In addition to serving up tasty food and drinks, Meadows Avenue Tap has become a hub of community engagement.
