About Us

We’re Meadows Avenue Tap, and we’ve been the premier bar and grill in East Peoria, IL since 2006. With over $55 Million won by our customers, we offer the best gaming experience around. We specialize in private parties, pool leagues, and video gambling. We also offer craft and domestic beer, appetizers, breakfast on weekends, burgers, homemade pizza, wings, and much more for dine-in, carryout, and curbside pickup. We’re looking forward to partnering with Morton, Peoria, and Washington Park consumers to continue to offer a premier bar and grill experience. Our Story

When owner Rich Gabbert took over the business in 2006, he had a vision for Meadows Avenue Tap to become a community staple and pass the business down to his children. Rich’s mission from the beginning has been to focus on customer satisfaction. In 2008, he added a covered beer garden outside for customers to enjoy some fresh air throughout their night, without removing themselves from the vibrant atmosphere that Meadows Avenue Tap is known for. When gambling became legal in Illinois in 2012, Rich thought gaming machines would add an extra layer of excitement and fun with his customers, and he was right! Nearly ten years later, Meadows Avenue Tap is known around the region to have the best gaming experience, and some of highest payouts for players. We’re a one-stop-shop for food and drinks, slot machines, and great conversation.

I had the bacon cheeseburger and it's one of the best I've had in a long time. A very generous helping of crispy bacon, wasn't skimpy like many places that only give you two small pieces. My wife had the burger and both of the patties are from Alwan & Son's. Parmesan fries were very good. Our waitress, Brandy, did a great job since she was the only one there and it started to get crowded in the late afternoon. Inside is clean for your typical tap. We will come back again.
